GERBER ISSUES

Several people had trouble with Gerber yesterday. Good idea to review convention card and make sure whether you are playing standard Gerber over NT bids followed by 4♣ or ROMAN GERBER (1 or 4/0 or 3/2 min/2 max). Remember, I advise my students to play Roman Key Card Gerber over Stayman auctions. Major followed by 4♣ = you bid the right major; give me key cards in that major (1 or 4; 0 or 3; 2 without; 2 with); Major followed by 4NT = you bid the wrong major, but I have a quantitative raise of your NT opening bid.
